This past winter, I orchestrated a llama hike with the Ladies in the KMC (Child Free Fun), and it was an absolute blast!

Their website specifically mentions birthday parties for children.
They even are able to plan "barrier-free routes" for wheelchair users!
How to Book
You have two options. You can join one of their already pre-planned outings on their website (when they are offered). Or you can send them an e-mail (listed above) and schedule a private tour. If you do schedule a private tour, you will need to IBAN the full payment over prior to your hike. So please keep that in mind.

Weather and Timing
Before you plan your adventure, please keep a few things in mind:
Winter often paints a bleak picture with everything dead, wet, muddy, and grey. However, pressed for time in Germany, I decided to go for it anyway.
Waiting for the "perfect time" can mean missing out on incredible opportunities. That's why I always strive to seize the moment, embrace imperfection, and live fully—no matter the season, weather, or timing.
Footwear
Speaking of wet and muddy conditions, be sure to wear waterproof hiking shoes and any other necessary rain gear. This is especially important during the colder, wetter months. Otherwise, your adventure could turn quite miserable. After all, no one enjoys being wet and cold!
Share Your Llama!
Don't walk a llama by yourself, unless you really, really want to. We were advised to share our llamas, and I'm so glad we did. While we experienced no aggression or spitting, llamas are obsessed with eating and can be quite stubborn and strong. They will try to munch on everything in sight, even dragging you halfway across a meadow for the "best spot." It was great to hand the reins over to my partner when I got a little fatigued or wanted to take photos/videos.
In the photo above, you'll see a lady walking with her arms out to the side. They had a younger llama who, upon realizing we were heading back, decided she wanted to run! It was quite funny watching them struggle to slow her down. However, without a partner, it would have been very difficult to maintain control (our guide helped too, of course). So, share your llamas, folks!
For this reason, I would always suggest at least 1 adult assist each child with their llama.

If you go on a German hike, you're almost guaranteed to face a significant uphill climb at some point in time. The hike in Annweiler was no exception; practically the entire first half was an uphill trek. However, we had two breaks to let the llamas graze and to learn some fascinating facts about them. These breaks were a welcome relief for those who were struggling a bit, and we ended up learning quite a bit!

At the End
When you finish the hike, you'll return the llamas to their enclosure, where you'll have the opportunity to feed them carrots. As you can imagine, this was a big hit with both the llamas and the ladies!
Afterward, we headed indoors to their cozy shop, where we sat down and enjoyed some glühwein. I had requested this when booking, and it was just 2 euros each. They even offered llama-themed beer, priced at 4.50 euros per bottle (including pfand).
Note: The glühwein is most likely only a winter feature.
